Oneka among the winners of the ADAPT Stage

Oneka Technologies is among the 10 winners of the ADAPT Stage of Waves to Water competition

We are delighted to announce that Oneka Technologies is among the 10 winners of the ADAPT Stage and only remaining contenders of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s WavesToWater Prize !

We designed a small, modular, wave-powered desalination system capable of producing clean water in disaster and recovery situations.

For the prize, we fine-tuned it for the specific conditions at Jennette’s Pier in NagsHead, North Carolina, the test site for the final stage of the prize.

Looking forward to sharing more about our solution for emergency relief zero-electricity water supply from the sea in 2021!
