3rd generation unit ready for deployment

The third generation unit is now ready for its deployment out in Scarborough beach, Maine. The team is planning a few months testing before the winter. The main goal of the testing is to validate the functioning of the new hydraulic system that shall convert the pulsating power of the waves in a continuous flow and pressure for the membranes. The wave climate is decent, but the water is much colder than in the areas for which the technology is designed. A practice launch was also completed using only Oneka’s small boat.
