Structural Steel Engineer

Work location : Sherbrooke, QC, or Dartmouth, NS.

As a Structural Steel Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of various components of Oneka’s unique desalination systems. With your extensive expertise in design, structural testing and assembly, welding and drafting, as well as contributing your expertise to our innovation team, to further the continuous improvement of our buoys.

Mechanical Engineer in Digital Simulation

The simulation engineer will be responsible for the structural optimization of our components with the aim of reducing overall mass. This includes the structure of the buoys and anchors, the floats as well as the hydraulic components designed internally.

Mechanical Drafter-Designer

Work location : Sherbrooke, QC, or Dartmouth, NS.

As part of a growing design team, the drafter-designer is responsible for designing various components of Oneka’s unique desalination systems.  This includes structural, hydraulic, and mechanical design under the supervision of engineers. In addition, the drafter-designer supports the assembly of the systems he/she has worked on allowing quick feedback on design choices. 

Marketing and Communication Coordinator

Work location : Sherbrooke, QC.

The marketing and communication coordinator will have a key role to ensure the  visibility and credibility of Oneka throughout the company’s strategic markets. In addition, she/he will be involved in various tasks related to commercial activities.

Field Service Technician

Location : Dartmouth, NS

As a Field Service and Commissioning Specialist, you will be at the forefront of assembling, deploying and maintaining our buoy on our two sites in Nova Scotia. You will be responsible for maintaining our buoy, making repairs, collecting data and connecting any problems with our engineering team.

System Operator

The coordinator will be responsible for managing the various maintenance activities within the building and ensuring some repairs and the effective functioning of our buoy parks.

Maritime Technician and Diver – Florida

Location : Fort Pierce, FL

The maritime technician will be supporting local operations to maintain, improve and operate the desalination buoys as well as executing various works at the workshop to support project operations and product improvements.
